Privacy Policy

Overview

RustRCON is a web-based RCON (Remote Console) tool for Rust game servers. We are committed to transparency about how your data is handled. In short: we do not collect, store, or share your data.

How RustRCON Works

RustRCON uses a WebSocket relay to connect your browser to your Rust game server. Your connection details (server address, port, and RCON password) are transmitted through our server solely to establish and maintain the RCON connection. This is required because browsers cannot connect directly to Rust RCON servers.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Data in Transit

Your connection credentials and RCON commands pass through our server in memory only for the duration of your active session, solely to relay them to your Rust game server. Once your session ends or you disconnect, no trace of your data remains on our server. All connections between your browser and our server are encrypted via SSL/TLS (HTTPS/WSS).

Browser Local Storage

RustRCON uses your browser's local storage to save server configurations and command history for your convenience. This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted to or accessible by us. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

RustRCON uses Google Fonts to load the typefaces used on this site. Google may collect basic request data (such as your IP address) as part of serving font files. No other third-party services are used.

Security

All traffic between your browser and RustRCON is encrypted using SSL/TLS. We do not persist any data to disk. Our server processes connections in memory only.
